Poster Series

In this project, I have designed a primarily typographic mock poster series advertising a fictitious featured event at the Rochester Museum and Science Center’s Strasenburgh Planetarium. My intention with this project was to create a colorful and engaging poster series that coneys the wonder and vastness of space without using actual space photography. The vivid color and movement draws viewers attention and keeps their eyes moving around the picture plane. The textured background and added brush layers help to mimic the look and feeling of a starry night sky. These posters coney the event information in a unique and engaging way through expressive typography, vivid color, movement and texture.
