Album Cover Redesign

For this project, I took inspiration from designer Dana Tanamachi; her work often includes a maximalist approach to space, elegant linework, and a limited color palette. Using these elements, I redesigned the Mayana "Skips A Beat" vinyl record album (released 1983). I wanted to make it feel energetic, colorful, and reminiscent of the 80’s electronic/disco music style. My design features a neon heart which complements the song and title.
